Welcome to SSIMUC's website. We are a group of electrical engineering, space sciences and Ph.D. students at the Technische Universität München, hosted by the Institute for Communications and Navigation and greatly supported by Professor Günther and Professor Lutz of the German Aerospace Center (DLR). True to the motto "Let's launch the dream!" and together with more than 200 students from all over Europe we use the opportunity to get hands-on experience in space projects. We are part of the development, integration, and operation of a satellite called ESMO - the European Student Moon Orbiter, an education satellite project of the European Space Agency. In addition, we implement a low-cost, experimental ground station to be used in student lab courses.
